ABOUT US


Argueta Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in San Diego, California and established by Rony Argueta in 2023. Our founder, Rony, is a former professional soccer player; he played seven years in USA's second tier of professional soccer, USL Championship, and one year in Finland's second tier of professional soccer, Ykkösliiga (formerly Ykkönen). Our approach to student-athlete development is holistic; connecting with the human-being before coaching the player.

MISSION


Our mission is to inspire and develop people who love and are passionate about the beautiful game by providing professional coaching, education, and resources. We aim to foster a love for the game, build strong character, and help individuals reach their full potential on and off the field. We strive to provide opportunities within the beautiful game to anyone, regardless of their financial situation, race, color, gender, creed, and religion.

VISION

We hope to one day possess and be able to work within a state-of-the-art facility and center including: prestine training fields, a game field/stadium, fitness/weight room, recovery area (compression boots, cold and hot tubs, sauna, pool, foam rollers, massage chairs, etc.), treatment area/room, dining area with kitchen, class rooms, dorm rooms,  and a library. Also, to be fully staffed including: directors, coaches, athletic trainers, nutritionists, analysts, scientists, educators, professors, and specialists in the necessary areas. An academy where student-athletes can pursue and practice any field of study they'd like and not be restricted to particular fields of study and areas of practice.
